Where can I sell my old pallets?
We purchase and collect pallets on a daily basis via our own dedicated fleet of vehicles – Articulated trailers or Rigid truck collections and we work with our customers to offer scheduled or one-off/emergency collections and clearances – often by the provision of “stand trailers” on your site.
If you prefer, you can bring your pallets to us by car, van or trailer – recycle them and play your part in helping us protect our Environment.
Where to Buy Pallets
Penntree are able to supply a wide range of pallets in either wood or plastic formats. A stock holding of circa 70,000 pallets enables us to respond to almost any request with the option of several alternatives to cope with the size of your products or weights you wish to carry.
What Pallet Sizes are there?
The most popular UK standard size pallet is 1200mm x 1000mm.
Closely following it is a 1200mm x 800mm pallet – known as a Euro Pallet.
The above pallets are most popularly available as a 4 way entry pallet. This allows for access from all 4 sides for Fork Lift/Pallet trucks.
Other popular sizes held in stock are; 1000 x 1000, 1200 x 1200, 1100 x 1100, 1500 x 1000 and 1300 x 1100 – all available as a 4 way entry or 2 way entry for Fork Lift or pallet truck entry.
A 4 way entry pallet enables the Fork Lift or Pallet Truck to gain entry from all 4 pallet sides whereas a 2 way pallet only permits access from 2 sides.

Penntree is able to supply many other sizes from stock or by manufacturing Bespoke Pallets to your exact size and quantity.
How much do Pallets cost?
The cost of a pallet is very much dependent upon the exact specification you require, quantity, frequency of order and whether you are collecting or you wish us to deliver.
Please consider the weight of the individual load per pallet you may need – it’s false economy to specify anything in excess of what you need!
For delivery purposes we will require delivery address and establish that a Fork Lift truck is available. Additionally, please consider if Articulated or Rigid vehicles have access.
Wooden are the most commonly purchased pallets and the most cost effective option. Plastic pallets are considerably more expensive.

Where can I get new pallets?
Penntree are able to offer pallet builds from NEW timber should you wish. As this can be an expensive option, and most people prefer a refurbished pallet at a fraction of the cost, please contact us for further information when we can discuss sizes and quantities.
